FACT SHEET - SOIREE UNDER THE SPIRES

Who: We are expecting more than 1200 guests including horseracing, golf and other sports celebrities, entertainment celebrities, business executives and other VIP's from the US, Europe, and around the world. Kentucky Governor Steven L. Beshear, Louisville Mayor Jerry Abramson, Churchill Downs President and CEO Bob Evans and local golf legend and Cup Experience Honorary Chairman/Ambassador Fuzzy Zoeller will host this twilight affair presented by The Cup Experience, Meijer and title sponsor Churchill Downs.

What: Soiree Under the Spires is an exclusive Friday evening event that will be held on September 19, 2008 from 7:00 p.m. to midnight at the historic Churchill Downs racetrack. The evening will include a walk through the paddock area with a parade of breeds and thoroughbreds, colorful jockey silks, cocktails, Bourbon Trail tasting, hors d'oeuvres, varied entertainment, dancing and live and silent auctions in the Turf Club and dinner on Millionaires Row.

When: Friday, September 19th 7:00 pm to midnight

Where: Churchill Downs, Louisville, Kentucky

Why: An evening event to celebrate the Ryder Cup, which we regard as a once-in-a-lifetime chance to showcase our city and state. The Cup Experience is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization and funds raised by the Soiree Under the Spires will be donated to various charities.

Dress: Dressy Casual - dinner jackets encouraged, but not required (no ties needed)/dresses.
